Casa del Poeta
You’re in the center of Barrio Santa Cruz, the delightful old Jewish Quarter – ideal for exploring the streets in the quiet early mornings and evenings.
Expect a sizeable selection of single malt whiskies, brandies and gins in the beautiful boudoir-ish red-and-gold bar, with very polite and attentive service. You can hear live guitar in the patio every night and the roof terrace offers marvelous views of Santa Cruz and Seville Cathedral.
Rooms are a good size, with walls in sophisticated tones of light green and dove grey, along with elegant hand-painted mural panels of palms and vines, as well as decorated headboards.
Breakfast is served on the patio or in the dining room on infrequent rainy days. Prepared fresh fruit is brought to your table, followed by pastries, toast, and coffee or tea. You can help yourself to cooked dishes, chocolate cake, cereals and quiche (all homemade).
